Social Media Marketing ToolKit

Earlier this year I was fortunate to work alongside Braille House on an amazing project they lead with support from the Queensland Government Department of Tourism.

I assisted Braille House with creating a Marketing Toolkit to provide to the likes of accommodation, hospitality and tourist venues and destinations to make sure their marketing is accessible to those who have low vision or are blind. 🦮

During this project I educated the Braille House team on the importance of ATL text on social posts and within website copy, as well as which Key Words to use to assist with SEO (Search Engine Optimisation), as many people who have low vision or are blind use screen readers when searching online.

This was a significant project which will help bridge the gap and make tourism more accessible for those who are blind or have low vision.
