Being strapped to a desk all day for work can sometimes make you go stir crazy! To combat the isolation in my 4 walls I listen to a variety of podcasts, audio books and music while I work. Each day is different, the project I’m working on dictates what I have going in my ears.
I try to find an array of podcasts that cover each day of the week as I usually like listening to them while I do my morning admin. Podcasts I have in heavy rotation include;
I had a break from shameless for about a year and I have just been binge listening to all their ‘Scandal’ Episodes I’ve missed – it’s actually an addiction. If you have any other suggestions or podcasts you can recommend please let me know – I love learning new things and discovering new people!
After lunch, I like to break up my day with an hour or two listening to a fiction audio book while smashing out some design work. I usually listen to audiobooks when I’m doing something that doesn’t require me to read or write - which pretty much only leaves designing.
I have just finished listening to ‘Scorned Prince’ by Brady Hunsaker on Audible and just started ‘The Sky on Fire’, by Jenn Lyons (Yes I love a good fantasy novel). I’m trying to fill the gap the ACOTAR left in my literary addiction. My friend recommended I read ‘The Bone Witch’ next so I’ll have to download it soon. Follow me on GoodReads so I can see what you’re all reading too.
BRAT has me hyped – Aussie summer cannot come quick enough. But you could also catch me listening to some light Jazz, RnB or AfroBbeats. My current hyper fixation songs include;
What’s been in your ears this month? I’d love to know!
